Now in its eighth year, Start magazine's Technology & Business Awards promote manufacturers that have deployed technology solutions to achieve operational efficiencies. Start magazine is a leading monthly trade publication read by more than 85,000 manufacturing executives.
Since 2004 Spectra-Physics has been using Nsite to improve the process by which customer service representatives and field service engineers track issues and completion times associated with the installation of equipment at customer sites. Nsite replaced what had been a manual process, resulting in 30 percent faster installation cycle-times and increased cash flow.
"What used to be a time-consuming process is now a fluid operation whereby customer issues are visible and easy to manage," said Kerry Diaz, North America Service Manager at Spectra-Physics. "Nsite has helped us eliminate many of the bottlenecks that occur when departments collaborate on a project by providing an easy to use tool for tracking the flow of data across the organization."
Nsite is the world-leader in providing on demand business process automation solutions for small and midsized companies. Nsite's proprietary "predictive routing" technology enables unusually fast deployment and minimal end-user training. Nsite solutions have been designed to address sales, service and financial processes that are managed frequently with spreadsheets and email.
"We are tremendously proud to have received this award along with Spectra-Physics and we'd like to thank the judges at Start magazine for recognizing our contribution," said Paul Tabet, founder and Chief Product Officer at Nsite. "This is an exciting time for Nsite with the upcoming launch of our new self-service process-automation suite. We look forward to helping more companies help themselves to process improvement, time savings and efficient operations."
