"There is tremendous excitement right now about the software-as-a-service model for delivering enterprise solutions, and we've had great customer momentum in 2004," said Nsite founder Paul Tabet. "With the additional funding and the arrival of Bob Jandro to lead our management team, we are now prepared to expand our sales, marketing, and distribution channels to clearly establish Nsite as the market leader for on demand business process automation solutions."
Prior to joining Nsite, Jandro served as Executive Vice President of Global Sales and Services at ONI Systems. During his tenure, ONI was the fastest growing company in Silicon Valley, achieving revenues of $60 million and $200 million for 2000 and 2001 and completed a successful IPO and secondary offering. Previously, Jandro was the Oracle Group Vice President for the Communications and Utilities industries, representing $400 million in revenue. Before joining Oracle, he spent 14 years at Tandem Computers, where he was Managing Director for EMEA.
"Nsite's hosted, subscription-based service allows users to rapidly improve their exception-based, unstructured processes without the time and expense of traditional enterprise software projects," said Jandro. "I'm looking forward to working with the Nsite team to deliver exceptional value to our customers with a guranteed commitment for support."
In addition to his management role, Jandro has also been appointed the Nsite Board of Directors. Colin Savage, General Partner, and Pete Goettner, Executive in Residence of Worldview Technology Partners, have also joined the Nsite Board.
"Having first-hand experience in running a hosted software-as-a-service company, I have spent the past twelve months looking for best-in-breed solutions that address big markets with an elegant and easy-to-deploy hosted model," said Goettner, Executive in Residence at Worldview Technology Partners, and founder and former CEO of DigitalThink. "Nsite is the only company I've seen that fits these criteria. I was immediately impressed by the loyalty of Nsite's customers, all of whom are using Nsite to solve real-world problems that every company faces."
